我出席浴佛節，佛誕嘉年華，在墨爾本出席了很多屆。在塔斯馬尼亞　王大師主辦的浴佛節則是第一次，很榮幸。

正如剛才大家所講到，我們能夠在海外紀念　佛祖的誕辰，祂是具有凝聚力的，能夠把各民族和各個國家的人凝聚在一起。特別是在2021年，如今，是新冠疫情（COVID-19 疫情）還沒有消除的時期，我們沒有辦法面對面在一起慶祝浴佛節。我們通過這種方式，仍然可以把大家聯繫在一起。

我因為在SBS 廣播電臺工作20多年，聯邦廣場就是我們廣播電臺所在地，正是浴佛節舉辦的場地，每年在5月佛誕的時候都在聯邦廣場舉行這活動，我也做過很多採訪，我自己也浴佛。

我的確希望我們的　佛祖能夠給世界帶來和平、安祥，疫情快一點過去，人民能夠更加團結、和睦地工作、生活在一起。

At the Bathing Buddha Holy Ceremony
Celebrating the 2565th Holy Birthday of the Great Holy Sakyamuni Buddha
Held by the Tasmanian Chinese Buddhist Academy of Australia via Zoom

I have attended Bathing Buddha Festivals, Buddha's Birthday celebrations, several times in Melbourne. I am honoured to attend the Buddha Bathing Festival hosted by Master Wang, in Tasmania, for the first time.

As other honoured guests mentioned earlier, we are able to commemorate the birth of the Buddha overseas today. These celebrations bring together people from various ethnic groups in various different countries. Now, in the year 2021, because of the continuing COVID-19 pandemic, although we are not able to come face to face to celebrate the Buddha Bathing Festival, we can still connect with each other via virtual meetings of this kind.

I really wish that our Buddha can bring peace and tranquillity to the world. I hope the pandemic will be over soon so that we can all work and live together in unity and harmony.
