我出席浴佛节，佛诞嘉年华，在墨尔本出席了很多届。在塔斯马尼亚　王大师主办的浴佛节则是第一次，很荣幸。

正如刚才大家所讲到，我们能够在海外纪念　佛祖的诞辰，祂是具有凝聚力的，能够把各民族和各个国家的人凝聚在一起。特别是在2021年，如今，是新冠疫情（COVID-19 疫情）还没有消除的时期，我们没有办法面对面在一起庆祝浴佛节。我们通过这种方式，仍然可以把大家联系在一起。

我因为在SBS 广播电台工作20多年，联邦广场就是我们广播电台所在地，正是浴佛节举办的场地，每年在5月佛诞的时候都在联邦广场举行这活动，我也做过很多采访，我自己也浴佛。

我的确希望我们的　佛祖能够给世界带来和平、安祥，疫情快一点过去，人民能够更加团结、和睦地工作、生活在一起。

At the Bathing Buddha Holy Ceremony
Celebrating the 2565th Holy Birthday of the Great Holy Sakyamuni Buddha
Held by the Tasmanian Chinese Buddhist Academy of Australia via Zoom

I have attended Bathing Buddha Festivals, Buddha's Birthday celebrations, several times in Melbourne. I am honoured to attend the Buddha Bathing Festival hosted by Master Wang, in Tasmania, for the first time.

As other honoured guests mentioned earlier, we are able to commemorate the birth of the Buddha overseas today. These celebrations bring together people from various ethnic groups in various different countries. Now, in the year 2021, because of the continuing COVID-19 pandemic, although we are not able to come face to face to celebrate the Buddha Bathing Festival, we can still connect with each other via virtual meetings of this kind.

I really wish that our Buddha can bring peace and tranquillity to the world. I hope the pandemic will be over soon so that we can all work and live together in unity and harmony.
