How Should Buddhism Enter Modern Society

Systematic Notions

 

         The world of Buddhism should unite.  We should reveal to mankind the Buddhist spirit of "Unconditional Great Mercy" and "Compassion for All" and the systematic notions of

         the world view of "conditional arising";
         "everyone has Buddha nature"; and
         "actual realization through actual practice, attaining Buddhahood with the current body".

         We should especially reveal them to those who are confused and empty of spirit.  To those who especially need to find a path forward, we should give them a guiding light and torch.

         Collect the accumulation of transmission lineages of Buddhist theories in all countries,
         collect the strength of Buddhist culture and civilization, and
         collect the material strength and power of faith of Buddhism in all countries,
         to satisfy modern society's requirements for the thinkings of Buddhism,
         to guide future civilization, and
         to promote the great aspirations of Samantabhadra Tathagata.
