The Finest Achievement of Human Civilization - Jin-Gang-Dhyana

General Zhang's Acceptance of the Honorary Presidency of
the International Jin-Gang-Dhyana Association

During my stay in China, in five opportunities, eleven meetings, and thirty-six rounds, I was able to converse at length and intimately with General Zhang.   The book, Age Transcending Friendship: Epoch-Marking Conversations, is a detailed recording of numerous discussions on esoterism, esoteric teachings, and especially Chinese Esoteric Buddhist Jin-Gang-Dhyana teachings, which General Zhang and I held when we traversed north and south of China.

It is also a detailed recording of Jin-Gang-Dhyana's actual practice and attainment.   General Zhang gave Jin-Gang-Dhyana many complimentary remarks.

The subjects of my conversations with General Zhang were the esoteric teachings of esoteric schools, and esoteric schools of esoteric teachings.   But the topics were specialized and the contents spanned a wide spectrum.

Some of the topics we delved into included the history of Chinese Esoteric Buddhism, the history of Chinese esoteric teachings, Chinese philosophy, science of human body, special human powers, astronomy, astrology, topography, geomancy, qigong, Confucianism, Taoism, Buddhism, medicine, martial arts, secret martial weapons, religious esoteric teachings, theories of Yijing (The Book of Changes), symbols of Yijing, numerology of Yijing, The Book of Changes (Yijing), Yilin, the three corpus of Yijing (Zhouyi, Lianshan, Guizang), energy of divination according to Yijing, divination per ziweidoushu methods, Mao Mountain Taoist teachings, spells, magical seals, zhuyouke (sorcerous healing), variations of special human powers, magics, hypnotism, premonition, Neon Grand Dharma, Levitation Grand Dharma, Conveyance Grand Dharma, clairvoyance, fortune telling, face reading, discerning true kungfu from fake ones, discerning true special powers from fake ones, discerning true qigong from fake ones, Tibetan esoteric doctrine, Chinese esoteric doctrine, Mongolian esoteric doctrine, etc.

General Zhang was a steadfast Marxist.   Using the standpoints, perspectives, and methods of materialist dialectics and materialistic conception of history, he dissected traditional Chinese culture in the most penetrating manner.

He frequently suggested original ideas, and greatly benefited my understanding of esoterism and Jin-Gang-Dhyana teachings in a penetrative and all-encompassing manner.   He helped to broaden my horizon.

Without reservation and with all his heart he talked with me.   As the old General Zhang once said: The relationship between the general and me could be described as a rare "friendship which transcends age."   In other words, "it is difficult to have an intimate friend who knows and appreciates each other's mind."

During one "great karmic opportunity", I personally invited General Zhang Zhen-Huan to become the Honorary President of the International Jin-Gang-Dhyana Association, and asked him to assist in the direction of the Association's functions.

General Zhang graciously accepted the role of Honorary President.
